本艇为手糊成型的全玻璃钢制高速艇，采用舷外挂机推进，本艇不夜航.本艇采用舷外机推进，配置150马力舷外机2台(或300马力机一台)，燃油箱200升，置于1#+330-3#+80肋位之间。起动电瓶采用蓄电池供应，电压12V,电容量为70Ah。本艇采用的舷外机是电启动前操式的。由驾驶台直接操纵发动机的倒、顺停、油门和舷外机的启动以及推进器的转向，以达到自由、安全、可靠的使艇前进、倒退和艇体的转向。驾驶台上配有必要的操纵仪表和发动机的仪表。在使用功率下航速可达35Kn。
